A few things this site is not, stated as plainly as we can manage.
Please read this alongside the Terms of Use.
Screening tools are not a diagnosis
The self-checks — including GAD-7, PHQ-8, PHQ-4, WHO-5 and PSS-4 — are validated screening tools. A score is not a diagnosis; only a qualified clinician can properly assess what is happening.
Medication
If you are currently taking prescribed medication, do not change it based on anything on this site. Speak to the doctor who prescribed it.
Training is not a licence to practise
Nothing you complete with us confers a professional licence, a statutory registration, a clinical qualification, or the authority to practise psychology independently. That includes assessment training: learning an instrument here does not entitle you to administer, interpret or report it on your own.
No guarantee of an outcome
A programme with us does not guarantee employment, a placement, a university admission, professional registration, or any other result.
Not an emergency service
This website is not monitored in real time. If you need urgent help, see Crisis Support or call 112.
None of this replaces urgent help. If you need someone right now, see Crisis Support — those lines are free and open 24×7.
