Stabilisation and grounding first
Before anything else, a reliable set of skills for coming back into the present. Nothing proceeds without them.

This might be you if…
You do not need to tick all of them. One is enough to be worth a conversation.
How we work
We start from your present concerns and background history, and we will tell you which of these we are drawing on and why.
Before anything else, a reliable set of skills for coming back into the present. Nothing proceeds without them.
Structured processing at a pace you set, with the brakes always in your hands.
Bilateral processing work for memories that stay vivid and undigested.
Attention to what the body is doing, because that is frequently where the record is kept.
Making sense of the conflicting reactions that trauma tends to leave behind, without pathologising any of them.
Practical details
Everything else you would probably want to know before you get in touch.
If you are currently taking prescribed medication, do not change it based on anything on this page. Speak to the doctor who prescribed it — and we are happy to work alongside them.

Stabilisation, yes. Active processing is usually better in person, and we will be straight with you about which stage you are at.
You do not need a diagnosis, a referral, or a good enough reason. Therapy does not change who you are — it helps you become who you have always been trying to be.
